General Rules for Dead Cats

ree

Interaction Limitations: Dead cats cannot interact with the living without admin permission. This ensures fairness and avoids interference with the natural flow of living characters' stories.

Default Path: Good cats go to StarClan by default. Bad cats, or cats specifically requested to go to the Dark Forest, are placed accordingly.

Trials for Questionable Cats: Cats with questionable morals or actions are brought before StarClan for a trial. StarClan cats hold a vote to decide their ultimate destination—StarClan or the Dark Forest.

Territorial Boundaries: The territories of StarClan, the Dark Forest, and Eversleep are divided by a deep, mystical river. These areas only connect at the southernmost edge, where bridges lead to a highly restricted zone for trials and the initial guiding of new spirits.

Starclan

Purpose and Environment

  • StarClan serves as a paradise for good and noble cats, those who upheld the values of their Clan and lived honorable lives. It is a place of light, harmony, and eternal peace.

  • The land is a mirror of the Clans' territories but is always abundant, vibrant, and untouched by harsh weather or hunger. The stars seem to shimmer even during the day, illuminating the territory in soft light.

  • Cats retain their peak physical form and have no scars, ailments, or disabilities that hindered them in life, though some may choose to keep certain marks as a badge of honor or identity.

Special Areas

  • Starlit Grove: A forest clearing where StarClan cats gather to discuss significant events or prepare for trials. This is also where they receive updates from the living world through the Starseer (staff-controlled).

  • Dreaming Pools: A tranquil area with reflective water, where StarClan cats can focus to send signs or dreams to the living. Only specific StarClan cats, chosen by the Starseer, have this privilege.

  • Silver Plains: Expansive fields where cats roam freely, hunt prey, and rest under the stars. These plains represent peace and fulfillment in their afterlife.

Rules and Interaction

  • StarClan cats can interact freely with other StarClan members.

  • Updates about living cats and Clan events are relayed through the Current Starseer, allowing StarClan characters to maintain a sense of purpose and involvement with the living.

  • StarClan cats cannot cross into the Dark Forest or Eversleep, except during trials or under specific circumstances approved by the Starseers.

Dark Forest

Purpose and Environment

  • The Dark Forest is reserved for cats who have committed great wrongs or betrayed the core values of the Clans. This realm is oppressive and shrouded in perpetual twilight, with dense, eerie forests, cold winds, and shadows that seem alive.

  • While not inherently a place of torture, the Dark Forest reflects the troubled nature of its inhabitants. The land is barren and difficult to navigate, with thorny undergrowth and no prey to hunt.

Special Areas

  • The Abyssal Hollow: A deep, shadowy pit where Dark Forest cats gather. The Hollow serves as their meeting place, and it is here that they plot and scheme or simply reflect on their actions.

  • The Jagged Path: A treacherous trail winding through the forest, filled with sharp rocks and hidden dangers. This area symbolizes the struggles and consequences of the choices Dark Forest cats made in life.

  • Echoing Glade: A quiet, open area where Dark Forest cats can converse or train in solitude. Despite its eerie beauty, it is a place of self-reflection.

Rules and Interaction

  • Dark Forest cats can only interact with other Dark Forest cats, creating a closed-off and often tense environment.

  • They cannot leave the Dark Forest or cross into StarClan or Eversleep without admin approval. The only exception is during trials or under rare, Starseer-directed circumstances.

EverSleep

Purpose and Environment

  • Eversleep is a neutral space for cats who did not believe in StarClan, were exiled from both StarClan and the Dark Forest, or were deemed neither good nor evil in life. It is a realm of tranquility and peace, free from judgment.

  • Unlike StarClan or the Dark Forest, Eversleep is a place of quiet rest. The environment is serene and calm, with soft twilight skies, gentle rivers, and meadows that stretch endlessly.

Special Areas

  • The Veiled Shores: A peaceful riverside where Eversleep cats can reflect on their lives. The shores are blanketed in mist, adding an ethereal quality to the atmosphere.

  • Windswept Fields: Expanses of soft grass and wildflowers where Eversleep cats can roam and rest, representing freedom and acceptance.

  • The Bridge to Nowhere: A simple wooden bridge at the edge of the territory, leading into a foggy void. It symbolizes the end of their journey and the peace they have found.

Rules and Interaction

  • Eversleep is not a punishment or isolation; it is a realm of acceptance and neutrality. Cats here are content and do not feel the need to interfere with other territories.

  • Eversleep cats do not interact with StarClan or Dark Forest cats, remaining wholly separate. Their existence is one of quiet reflection and peace.

The Restricted Zone

  • Located at the bottom of the three territories, this area serves as a neutral ground for trials and the guiding of new spirits.

  • Trials: StarClan cats gather here to vote on the fate of questionable spirits, deciding whether they belong in StarClan or the Dark Forest.

  • Guidance: The first Starseer, who acts as a bridge between the realms, leads newly deceased cats to their respective afterlife based on their actions in life or the outcome of their trial.

  • This area is heavily guarded and can only be accessed during specific events or with admin permission.
