High-ranking roles in Echoes in the Maples (EITM), such as Leader, Deputy, Medicine Cat, and Medicine Cat Apprentice, are integral to shaping their clan's destiny. These roles come with significant responsibilities and require active involvement in the server’s roleplay and community.



High-Rank Guidelines

  1. Age Requirement:

    • Leaders and Deputies: Must be 18+ years old.

    • Medicine Cats and Apprentices: Must be 16+ years old.

  2. Activity Level:

    • High ranks are expected to contribute regularly to roleplay and community discussions.

  3. Role as Staff:

    • High-rank players are part of the server’s staff team due to their influence and responsibilities.

  4. Leadership Responsibilities:

    • Guide their clan, resolve conflicts, and make decisions that impact the clan’s direction and story.

  5. Event Planning:

    • Organize and oversee clan-specific events and activities.

  6. Roleplay Engagement:

    • Actively participate in scenarios that advance the clan's storyline.

  7. Community Interaction:

    • Serve as a liaison between clan members and moderators, communicating needs and feedback.

  8. Non-Archivable Characters:

    • High-ranking characters cannot be archived. If you need a break, arrange for backup players to temporarily assume your duties.

  9. Backup Player Requirement:

    • Maintain one or more designated backups to step in when necessary, ensuring continuity of leadership.



Backups Guide

Backups ensure the smooth operation of the clan when a high-rank player is unavailable. They follow detailed guidelines provided by the primary player and act within set boundaries.

  1. Duties of Backups:

    • Ceremonies: Conduct clan ceremonies as needed.

    • Gatherings: Represent the clan at Gatherings, delivering pre-determined statements.

    • Events: Manage clan-specific events to keep activities running smoothly.

    • Clan Tickets: Handle routine tasks, such as role changes or administrative requests.

  2. Limitations:

    • Major Decisions: Backups cannot make significant decisions affecting the clan's direction or plot developments.

    • Documentation: All actions must be documented and aligned with pre-discussed guidelines.



Role-Specific Responsibilities

Leader

  • Ultimate Authority:

    • As the clan’s leader, your decisions carry the weight of StarClan.

  • Ceremonies and Emergencies:

    • Perform ceremonies and respond to emergencies, ensuring traditions and order are upheld.

  • Event Planning:

    • Organize clan events aligned with its interests and lore.

  • Inter-Clan Relations:

    • Manage alliances, rivalries, and clan interactions.

  • Gatherings:

    • Speak at Gatherings to update others on clan news.

  • Tradition Upholding:

    • Maintain clan customs and heritage.

  • Spiritual Duties:

    • Travel to Ghost Hollow for StarClan consultations.

  • Backup Leaders:

    • Maintain a list of up to three backups and create a rule list to guide their actions in your absence.

  • Disciplinary Actions:

    • Handle punishments, exile, and difficult choices affecting the clan’s welfare.

Deputy

  • Patrol Scheduling:

    • Organize weekly patrols, ensuring all members participate regularly.

  • Event Collaboration:

    • Work with the leader to plan and manage clan events.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Oversee the Fresh Kill Pile to ensure resources are sufficient.

  • Acting Leader:

    • Perform leader duties in their absence, including ceremonies and emergencies.

  • Reporting:

    • Act as the main communication link between clan members and the leader.

  • Mentorship:

    • Support apprentices and younger members, fostering their growth.

  • Conflict Resolution:

    • Address disputes within the clan to maintain harmony.

Medicine Cat

  • Foraging and Inventory:

    • Gather and manage herbs, ensuring adequate stock.

  • Healing Process:

    • Handle healing tickets and ensure clan members receive timely care.

  • Training:

    • Mentor a medicine cat apprentice in herbal knowledge and spiritual duties.

  • Interpreting Signs:

    • Decipher prophecies and omens to guide the clan spiritually.

  • Ceremonies:

    • Conduct medicine cat-specific ceremonies.

  • Mediation:

    • Resolve conflicts with compassion and wisdom.

  • Gatherings:

    • Attend Half Moon and Full Moon Gatherings to align with the wider spiritual practices.

  • Announcements:
