Traveling

Gatherings

Traveling is an important part of roleplay, we require folks move through territory by going from place to place. You may "teleport" to any place within your own clan, However invading other territory, you must move from place to place, please view the clan maps to calculate a path through.

Traveling through other clans territories will lead you with a chance to get caught. We require that for each place you go to, you will sit in the channel for five irl minutes. If you enter a place with other cats in it or cats appear within the time, youll need to roll in private, use your clans "Rolls" channel to determine if you sneak through the territory unnoticed. You will use your "Movement" stat for this. Depending on your roll use the following table to continue with your roleplay.

Rolls of 1, 2, or 3 result in a "Miss."  Youve been caught.
Rolls of 4, 5, or 6 result in a "Bad" outcome.   Cats notice your presence and will report it back to camp
Rolls of 7, 8, or 9 result in a "Medium" outcome.  Cats notice something is off but the shrug it off,.
Roll of 10, 11, or 12 results in a "Good" outcome.  You quickly pass without anyone noticing anything.

If ANY player notices you at any point while youre in the channel. They can alert others in chat by sending an OOC statement. If you are caught you have to roleplay accordingly, even if you rolled a perfect movement roll.

Patrols

Cats are required to go on One patrol a week! Patrols are made weekly by the clans deputy and posted in the Clans bulletin. Characters do not have to wait and go as a group, characters will be rotated out!

Code Breaks / Bends

Code Breaks / Bends are allowed, However if caught will have in game consequences up to exile. Leaders will act in character, potentially preventing your character to join another clan. These are taken very seriously and should hold weight. They might be denied if not enough of a story is presented.

Full Gatherings occur every month on the 1st while Half gatherings occur every month on the 15th!

Gatherings will consist of multiple channels unlocked on those days, allowing multiple characters to chat with other folks. This is a time to enjoy cross clan friendships but remember to follow your clans lead.

Two times a year [Summer & Winter] the clans experience the Gathering Games! These are a time of excitement and true truce. The clans all battle in small games in the day to the night.

Starseer

The Starseer stands as a solitary sentinel within the world of the clans, embodying the ethereal bridge between the earthly and the celestial Starclan. This cat will only be played by members of staff, specifically those who are unable to contain into character pov.

  • The Starseer is a solitary guardian residing in the Ghost Hollow, acting as both a prophet of Starclan and the protector of the Moon Den.

  • Their primary responsibilities include maintaining neutrality in clan affairs, safeguarding the Moon Den, and other items touched by Starclan. They serve as guides, relaying crucial information to clan cats when deemed necessary by Starclan but without forming any emotional attachments or interfering directly in clan matters.

  • The title of Starseer is unique, with only one Starseer existing at any given time. Upon the death of a Starseer, Starclan selects the next worthy cat, who is resurrected to assume the role.

  • Starseers undergo a renaming ceremony, where their original name's prefix is replaced with "Star" (e.g., Minnowdance becomes Stardance). This new identity signifies their transformation and dedication to Starclan, which is relinquished upon their death.

  • Starseers are unable to interfere with any knowledge they possess.

Ghost Hollow

The Ghost hollow is eitms Gathering place as well as the moon stone.
The Ghost hollow refers to a dip in the group with a single large white tree with a hollow interior. Leaders will announce from the branches of the tree while deputys sit at the base among the roots.

The opening to the Moon den is on the opposite side of the leaders branches. A Root curves creating a small hallway into the den, closing it off from most light. A small branch close to the entrance of the moon den is one of the only to grow leaves. It is customary for medicine cats to eat a leaf before meeting with starclan.
The moon den is Guarded by the Starseer. Read more below.
